Thanks for booking with Bounce Party!
You’ve elected to pick up your equipment from one of our warehouses, which means that you’ll be responsible for setting it up when you take it home.
There are a few important things for you to keep in mind:
We only offer this service for people who we think are able to use and erect the bouncy castle to the same level that one of our staff members can. A lot of our gear is easy to handle and therefore, the unit that you have been allocated we are confident that you can set up and look after.
The two major, non-negotiable when setting up a bouncy castle are:
- The Bouncy Castle must be weighed to the ground and;
- The Bouncy Castle must be inflated at all times (with no risk of being deflated)
On grass surfaces, you’ll receive pegs, which must be fully hammered into the ground until the top of the peg can no longer be seen. The rings to hammer these into are visible along the sides of the bouncy castle - the exact same as tents - just bigger.
If you’re provided with sandbags, you need to fasten these to the same rings.
There are two places to watch out for air escaping. Those are the tube vents (where the blower is secured into with rope) and velcro vents (where air is intentionally let out when deflating). Walking around the inflatable for during set up will allow you to spot any air that could be escaping.
Please make sure you supervise children while the equipment is being used. All accidents have happened when there has been no adult supervision.
These bouncy castles are designed to be used outside (where it can rain and be subject to wind). As long as the winds are no more than 35km/h (we check when we allow the booking to go ahead) and as long as the rain is not continual and a heavy downpour, you will be find to carry on with your booking.
Call or text us on 021 207 1881 if you have any issues when you’re trying to set up or need someone to walk you through it over the phone.
Once you’ve collected the equipment, please take it home and test it immediately. You will want to make sure as soon as possible that nothing has been damaged in transit as organising a replacement or any alternative for you on the day will be extremely difficult.
